The idea behind this weapon was to be a sort of dumbfire mine that would bounce along the terrain for a certain distance before finally settling into the role of a simple proximity mine. I figured that since it was supposed to bounce and roll across the track, it would make the most sense for it to be a spherical object, and I'll have to admit to being influenced by Samus' morph ball from the Metroid series in the final shape of the mine. As with many of the items in this mod, I took advantage of self-illumination to add some extra flair to the model...even though, in an average match, you probably wouldn't notice the details as you went racing by.
